Premature Infant Care
Our premature infant unit supports babies born before 37 weeks with round-the-clock monitoring, specialised nutrition and a calm, low-light environment that protects their developing senses. Parents are part of the care team from day one.
What does premature care involve?
Every early baby has a personal care plan. Depending on their needs this can include temperature-controlled incubators, breathing support, feeding through a small tube until they are ready to suck, and gentle developmental care that mimics the comfort of the womb.

Inside our neonatal unit
Each family space has its own monitoring, a recliner for skin-to-skin time and soft lighting. Neonatologists, specialist nurses, dietitians and therapists meet every day to review progress and plan the next steps with you.
